Golden Globe Awards

The 2025 Golden Globe Awards presented significant logistical challenges due to the current condition of the Beverly Hilton Hotel. With a new hotel under construction on the property, a large portion of the venue was unavailable, necessitating innovative solutions for an event that has traditionally been set up in the same manner for decades. In collaboration with the city, venue management, and production teams, we developed and executed a comprehensive plan that involved shuttling 90% of the crew and attendees from off-site locations, utilizing newly available spaces for the truck compound, and coordinating limited lane closures to ensure a smooth and successful load-in and load-out process.

The 2025 Golden Globe Awards required a major reimagining of traditional event logistics due to construction of a new hotel on the Beverly Hilton property. With a significant portion of the venue footprint rendered unavailable, long-standing production plans had to be overhauled to accommodate new spatial constraints—while preserving the prestige and efficiency expected of a globally televised event.

The Challenge

The Beverly Hilton has hosted the Golden Globes for decades with a consistent layout and infrastructure. The ongoing construction disrupted key staging areas and vehicle access points, creating the need for a complete reconfiguration of crew access, equipment staging, and attendee arrival logistics—all within a compressed timeline and under public scrutiny.

The Solution

In close collaboration with city officials, venue management, and production stakeholders, we designed and executed a comprehensive logistics plan that included:

  • Shuttle Operations: Coordinated transportation for 90% of crew and guests from designated off-site locations
  • Site Reconfiguration: Repurposed newly accessible areas for the truck compound and tech staging
  • Permitting & Traffic Control: Strategically managed limited lane closures to facilitate efficient load-in/load-out
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Maintained ongoing communication across security, production, and city agencies to ensure alignment
